Rangareddy), K.V. Rangareddy, Uppal, Telangana, India, 500039, are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, use, store, and disclose information gathered through the Tripzo platform — a school bus tracking ecosystem designed to keep students safe, parents informed, and schools in control.

ANY CAPITALISED WORDS USED HENCEFORTH SHALL HAVE THE MEANING ACCORDED TO THEM UNDER THIS AGREEMENT. ALL HEADINGS USED HEREIN ARE ONLY FOR THE PURPOSE OF ARRANGING THE VARIOUS PROVISIONS OF THE AGREEMENT AND SHALL NOT BE USED TO INTERPRET THE PROVISIONS CONTAINED WITHIN. ANY UNDEFINED CAPITALISED TERM IN THIS POLICY SHALL HAVE THE SAME MEANING AS IN THE TERMS OF SERVICE.

General

This document is an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder as applicable. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.

This document is published in accordance with the provisions of Regulation 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011 and Regulation 4 of the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Information) Rules, 2011 (the “SPI Rules”) that require publishing the rules and regulations, privacy policy, and terms of use for access or usage of the App.

The use of the App by the User is solely governed by this Policy as well as the Terms of Service. By logging into the App or by opting to use the trial Services and/or using any of the Services shall be deemed to signify the User's unequivocal acceptance of this Policy and the aforementioned Terms.

Collection of Information and Confidentiality

The User expressly agrees and acknowledges that the Firm collects and stores the User's personal information, which is provided by the User from time to time on the App, including but not limited to the User's name, email address, phone number, role (school administrator, bus captain, or parent/guardian), and details about their associated institution or vehicle. For parents and guardians, information about their children including name, class, assigned bus route, and trip attendance records may also be collected.

  • Information that is freely available in the public domain or accessible under the Right to Information Act, 2005 or any other law will not be considered as ‘personal information’ or ‘sensitive personal data or information’.
  • The User is aware that the Firm may automatically track certain information about the User's behaviour on the App through internal analytics tools for the purpose of improving services.
  • The User is aware that the contact information provided may be used to send service-related updates, operational alerts, and notifications, and the User consents to receiving the same.
  • The User is aware that the Firm may occasionally request the User to complete optional feedback surveys.
  • The User is aware that the Firm may request reviews for Services and authorises the Firm to publish any reviews.

If the User wishes to request that the Firm no longer uses the User's information, the User may contact the Firm at contact@mytripzo.com. The Firm will retain the User's information for as long as the User's account is active. After an account is deactivated or deleted, data will be permanently removed after 12 months.

Our Use of Your Information

The information provided by You at the time of registration shall be used to contact You when necessary and to provide You with the services of the App. Your personal data may be collected and stored by Us for internal records and service improvement. We use tracking information such as IP addresses and/or Device IDs to help identify you and to gather broad demographic information for analytics purposes. In case We are acquired by or merged with another firm, We shall transfer information disclosed by You as part of that transaction.

Confidentiality

Your information is regarded as confidential and therefore shall not be divulged to any third party, unless legally required to do so to the appropriate authorities. We shall not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any marketing agencies or any other such companies that indulge in unsolicited communications.

Disclosure of Your Information to Third Parties

Due to the existing regulatory environment, We cannot ensure that all of your Personal Information shall never be disclosed in ways other than those described in this Privacy Policy.

External Service Providers: There may be a number of services offered by external service providers that help You use our App. Their use of Your information is governed by their own privacy policies.

Other Corporate Entities: We share data, including Your Personal Information, with Our parent and/or subsidiaries that are committed to serving Your needs through use of the App and related services.

Law and Order: We cooperate with law enforcement inquiries. We can, and You so authorise Us, disclose Your Personal Information to law enforcement and other government officials as We, in Our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate.

Student Data

The App processes data relating to school students including names, attendance records, trip history, and assigned routes, solely for the purpose of providing school transport tracking services. Schools and authorised administrators are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate consent and legal basis for sharing student data with the platform. The Firm does not use student data for any purpose other than delivering the services described in the Terms of Service. Student data is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

Accessing, Reviewing and Changing Your Profile

Following registration, You can review and change the information You submitted through the App. If You change any information, We may keep track of Your previous information. If You believe that any information We are holding on You is incorrect or incomplete, please email us as soon as possible at contact@mytripzo.com. We shall promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

Security

We treat data as an asset that must be protected against loss and unauthorised access. We employ industry-standard security techniques to protect such data. However, “perfect security” does not exist on the Internet. You therefore agree that any security breaches beyond the control of Our standard security procedures are at Your sole risk and discretion.

Indemnity

You agree and undertake to indemnify us in any suit or dispute by any third party arising out of disclosure of Personal Information by You to third parties either through the App or otherwise and Your use and access of websites and resources of third parties. We assume no liability for any actions of third parties with regard to Your Personal Information which You may have disclosed to such third parties.

Severability

Each paragraph of this Privacy Policy shall be and remain separate from and independent of and severable from all and any other paragraphs herein except where otherwise expressly indicated or indicated by the context of the agreement. The decision or declaration that one or more of the paragraphs are null and void shall have no effect on the remaining paragraphs of this Privacy Policy.

Amendment

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We shall post any privacy policy changes on the homepage of the App and notify You by email.
